Yee Haw, Got me a Conquistador

Just picked up a nice used Conquistador Umax, been wanting to try one for a long time.
I don't think they made alot of Conquistador's as it was quickly replaced in the lineup by the Cibola.
Can't wait to get it and do a little Umax beep digging. Be a good back up to the Deleon.

I'm with ya on the numbers of them out there....so chances are the one you have is the one that I was so proud of...(inside joke)...lol

Let us know how it goes bud.

Great!
From what I've read, it's a super nice detector that has some good depth to it. I have the Eldorado uMax and really like being able to go from the discriminate mode to the all metal threshold based mode with a flip of a switch. You'll really like that feature on the Conquistador.

Just returned from a planted coin, club hunt where the Conquistador served me very well. The frequency switch is very helpful when around numerous detectors.

Com'on now, don't leave us hanging..............what did you find, what prizes did you win?

Lots and lots of nickels and dimes, some silver halves, presidential dollars and a token for a Whites Coinmaster Pro detector. My wife did similar, but no detector. However, she did pull a token for a $50 cache so all in all it was a very good hunt. Will be stiff and sore for a couple of days, but more than worth it.
