Yee Haw Cibola On It's Way!

Just traded in my Fisher CZ-6a for a Tesoro Cibola. Hope our northern New York weather holds out awhile longer for me so I can try it out when I get it (hopefully Wednesday or Thursday). I only detect for coins and jewelry on school grounds and playgrounds, etc. never do any beach hunting. From the reviews I have read about the Cibola it should do just fine for me. Thanks! Steve.

It will. But, Id've held on to the Fisher, too.

You'll enjoy it for sure!!!! Let us know how you're doing with it.

Thanks for all your comments. I almost traded for a Minelab Xterra 30 instead of the Cibola. Dollar wise the Minelab is the better deal, more expensive than the Cibola but on sale now for the same price. The Xterra also has a display & three tone id. But the three tone id machines drive me nuts, and to me the display is not necessary. Not knocking the Xterra (because I have never used one) but I read some negative reviews such as : the detector shutting off on it's own, weak battery springs, headphone jack loosening up,display going dim with new batteries,no sound from internal speaker. I suppose there are bad one's in all different brands, I decided to go with the Cibola after reading so many good reviews here and other places, can't wait to get the Cibola and take it out for a long walk. Thanks! Steve.

Youll like the Cib. Real simple, real capable.
