What will people, like us, metal detect for???? Most all of our stuff,today,is made like our pennies ! If it is not made of plastic it is some kind of pot metal,that decomposes ! Clad pennies,i have dug,are rotted and raggety junk ? Pennies[wheaties] ain't much,but are a real mini-trophy,for myself. What about you ?
I know we won't or can't dig it all up,but things we become rare.And with recycleing,soda cans and snap tops,may become a real find!!!!! Can't you picture it,30 or 40 years from now,on site like this one,a person writes,"I found 8 snap tops today,from the 60's and a soda can !" The readers are amazed ? Another fellow chimes in,"I was on an knocked down farm house,from back in 01 ]2001],and found a piece of copper tubeing and an old steel socket wrench ! Also,in a plastic pill bottle,i found 6 pennies,from the 90's !!!!" The people are awe-struck ?
