well, im pretty sure this is end of my third year of detecting and in a few months the start of my fourth. Luke and I had a very successful year i think. last year we did a little better on the silver count, but we found more wheats this year than we found the first two years combined! hopefully we will be able to sneak a few more trips out, but the temperatures are dropping pretty quickly, which means one thing...ICE FISHING wooooo!! :) we were hoping that we could break the 200 mark for wheats, but we came up a just a little short. heres the pics anyway...

Totals:

189 wheat pennies
15 indian head pennies

7 buffalo nickels
3 war nickels
1 v-nickel

15 mercury dimes
12 roosies
1 barber

5 washingtons

silver total: 33

there are 46 wheats in the tube in the back that we found in one day.

... You and Luke ought to be very proud of those great finds. Those finds represent hours of fun and an insight into history.
