Year End Totals

I just finished tallying up my 2011 finds and while it was one of my worst years for silver, I had my best year ever with Indian Head pennies. I found 26 Indians with my AT Pro with the oldest being a 1864. The remarkable part of this scenario is these coins came from the SAME places I have hunted for years, definitely not virgin territory. That is a real testament to the AT's outstanding trash handling ability. R.L.

I was using the stock 8.5x11 dd coil. Most of the coins came from 6 to 8 inches. I will be buying the smaller 5x8.5 dd coil this winter when I cash my clad coins in. The big DD coil is a great coil so I am hoping the smaller DD will be even better in the trashy spots I hunt.
