Does anyone get tired of hearing, "Wow this is a great detector." I was shock on how well it did on my first time out. I have been super busy and only had an hour to MD since I got my F-70 this week. I hit a spot that I have been over 3 times and I suck it dry with my other MD'er. First hit was a nickel at 9" with the coil no the ground. I wasn't measuring the accuracy of the depth, but I knew the coins I dug were deep. Next was a quarter at at 14"? I laid the coil on the ground and it read 12". My heart started beating faster, I was in virgin ground where no other MD'er has been. What a thrill.
I was playing with the settings and was trying everything. I was using the small coil, because I hunt mainly in trashy areas. Most the time it was at -1, sen. 60. Ground was 70+. It made a lot of bouncy sounds, but I didn't care. It was just communicating with me.
I was trying to pp a target at 16" and the pp would fade away on me. Re-swing and the target would be back, than the pp would fade again after a few seconds. I have a lot to learn, but even messing around, I did better than my other MD'er that I know real well.
This is what I found in a cleaned out area.
A brass button with a Egyptian scholar on it?

Total 4 wheat's: 1917, 1931, 1945, 1951 and a 1920 buffalo. An old clock key. I don't trouble myself about cleaning clad.
