Y'all remember when I left Alaska, I sold my 1957 Ford on Ebay to a man that restores cars for a living. Got this email from him today on another car

Here is a "one family owner" (1955 Ford Crown Victoria). It belongs to a couple in their 80's..........they live on a ranch about 30 miles from our shop. Her mother purchased it new in Austin, Texas. As you can see, it is in a distressed condition. They wanted us to restore it for them to drive on special occasions (while they could still drive). It came in on July 1 of this year and we told them that they could expect at least a year to year and half for delivery. Due to their age they asked that we finish it as soon as possible.

Bottom photos is the same vehicle less than 4 months later.....................................THEY PICKED IT UP TODAY and it was extremely difficult for them to wipe all the smiles from their faces..............

THIS IS SUCH REWARDING AND FUN WORK !!!!!!!!!!!

We "jumped" on it and finished this week ( 9-12 months ahead of schedule)! NOW, they can have the pleasure of driving a beauty!

That was a Standard Color,My mother had one in a Victoria Model a 1955 model with that color !
