Everyone just had to keep going on and on about the little "yeller feller" ... Mine arrived today! <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D">
If the weather cooperates, I'll be test driving it tomorrow. I'm hope to find the comments regarding pinpointing with it before turning in tonight. I'll let you know how I do on the 'maiden voyage'.
Thanks again - but my wife is mad at all of you! <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=";)"> <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=";)">

That's great phillip. I betcha can't stop yourself from posting about your first hunt. <img src="/metal/html/wink.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=";)">

She'll get over it the first time you dig up a nice ring. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

As a matter of fact, I will do that very thing.... Had my first hunt with the yeller feller this morning and early afternoon. Loved it, got some really good depth and really enjoyed the different tones. Didn't find anything spectacular, but did find a nice silver charm and a lapel pin with Russian writing on it. The only thing I found really disappointing was the disappearing pinpoint tone below about 4 inches. I certainly hope Garrett will find a fix for that problem and share it with those who have already purchased the yeller fellers. Other than that, it's an unbelievable steal at the price its going for. Thanks for all the encouragement (through this forum) to get one. This may even become my new competition hunting machine.

Yeah that's my only gripe, the fact it will detect deeper than it can pinpoint which I don't understand, since pinpoint is, or should be, the all metal mode. If they could correct this they would have one superb little machine.
