Y'all inspired me to get out and look for jewelry

Not really a jewelry hunter but will take it should I find it. Many of you on here inspired me to see if I could find a piece of jewelry. "Hmmmm", I thought to myself I suppose I can check out some local volley ball courts. So off I went. Now I see why people become discouraged looking for jewelry. Now entering "bottle top and pull tab hell" enter at your own risk and possibly lose your sanity  Oh that is right, Mud confirmed that I officially lost my mind in one of my other posts :stretcher: So I entered into insanity....

I figured if I put in my "due diligence" that I would be rewarded for my efforts. Another pull tab, another bottle top, back and forth, back and forth...after a bag full of bottle tops and pull tabs my efforts finally paid off. First I pulled out this ring and right smack next to it was a modern day pull tab. Very dense garbage but the AT Pro finally smoked out a good target. Seems to be copper-based but I will take it. I give all you jewelry hunters a ton of credit for wading through all those mid and low tones looking for jewelry. Myself, I can only do this for a short period of time before I send myself off to the funny farm.   :look:

Excellent! EPL!:beers: John is right...all it takes is one, and you will be insane forever!

To a jewelry hunter, 'Garbage is Good' The more tabs/foil the merrier! You will be handsomely rewarded with big gold and silver if you commit yourself to the insanity asylum of the modern park!..

I remember the day that old time digger told me if I wanted to get really good, to find '1000 pulltabs and 1000 pennies' there was gold and silver in that excersize! So I pass this along to you, off you go on your quest! Take a pic of your 1000 tabs and pennys please, and how long it took you to find them...you should be able to bang this out in a week easy, maybe even this afternoon?...that has got to be a sight to see that will give a guy shudders! Oh, also a pic of the big gold you find along the way is welcomed...

Thinking back, this may help you....in a 15 mile radius of my house, in the last 5yrs, 3 big gold chains, countless silver ones, over 30 gold rings, countless silver ones....and a steaming stink pile of junk!
Mud.

Hey John,
Thanks John- Edmonton for the ID. I had a pretty good idea of the type of mood I was in after a bag full of pull tabs and bottle tops

Mud, I see the whole correlation between pull tabs and rings. There is no other way. It is a dig-it-all asylum without walls or boundaries

As far as a 1000 pull tabs / 1000 penny quest, I may have to show you from your chair at your local convalescent home :stretcher: because it is going to be a loooooong time.

I do commend you for all the rings / jewelry that you have found. Maybe I need to apprehend every low-mid-high tone that comes across my coil.

This hunt was a feeler for jewelry hunting. Digging in the sand was fun and found a few nickels but the ring actually was located at the sideline where everyone places there clothing and jewelry. I believe I need to invest into the 5" coil. Then I can separate signals better. This volleyball court had way to many signals (on the sidelines) for even the 5x8 to process. As for myself, my mind was shutting down and symptoms started appearing, I knew then it was time to stop.

I will have to try it again sometime with the sniper coil.

Good for you buddy that you scored a ring. I hit them now and then but I admit little patience for digging junk signals. And no tears in my eyes for any loss. I imagine that I wont be so discerning when I try the water though, as it shouldn't be so tough on my gimpy back.

Good find on the ring, epl. You have to dig the trash to find the treasure and rings always help my mood. Gold, silver or junk, I always get excited.

Apparently it is the only way anyone is going to find the gold. Just think if the pull tab or bottle tops had never been invented I would change my view on hunting rings: I would think, "ah!....it's just another gold ring" lol

I was in a battlefield of 1812 that had been hit before. Start looking forward to find if only a round bullet.
Three hours later, 65 round bullet after, I hated the balls like the Pulltaps...
None is hunter jewelry, I think, what's hunt, which we passed. I found a ring like your and then more gold and silver rings. Go for it.
