My two son's Brady and Kenny are building them dune buggy,So is just about every man around the neighbor hood.A long time ago I use to rebuild VW engines( as a hobby) and made two are three dune buggys back in the 70's.Well Betty ask me why I don't make one with the boys.I got a few $(they she knows I got ) and ask why don't I do something with it.So thinking again(BAD) I said to my self,Self,That would be a good project for the Winter and into the Spring.So here we go.Brady and I started looking for old VW's,Any model for 49 to 73.We don't need the body,just the floor pan,wheels,running gears, and engine.The rest is just junk.I'm going to show you what I bought for $200.00.I bought this VW with two 1600cc engines.It don't look good now but it's going to work.So go a ahead and make fun of it,You know who I'm talking about hehehe

For Your Dune Buggy OR Was It Two Hard To See It Tore Up---I Understand You Keep It In Like New Condition----I Found My Computer On The Front Porch With The Box Soaked---- I Hope I Never Have To Use The Yellow Truck Again---When I Tried To Use The Computer I Could NOT Find A Connection For The Video Board---So I Opened It Up And Found Parts Floating Around---After I Got Them Reinstalled It Worked----All They Had To Do Was Reinstall The Hard Drive To Make It Work---They Had A Way Better Than Trying To Do It Over The Phone---You Better Do One Thing Before Jumping In Your Buggy---UP Your Death Insurance So You Would Be Worth Something To Your Wife After You Crash It !

I remember when I was about 19 we built one ... had a blast with it .... took some good jumps with it and eventually ended up up-side down in a ravine way out in the desert ,,,, couldn't get it upright so had to walk out .... just about died from that walk...... and never went back for the VW....
