Yahoooooooooooooooo Got my Brand New F-75 today

Elton

New member
Can not believe how much I missed the one I had...Nothing..and I mean NOTHING compares to the F75

The best detector I have ever held...........used, and Liked............Deep tooooooooooooo.........So comfortable once you use it..your spoiled forever.

Just my opinion

I found more deeper coins and with lightening fast responses with the F75 than any detector I have ever used..And I have used many, many..Thanks for reading. Just had to share

Temp 56 degrees..Sunshine..But ground still mostly frozen solid

Test garden results

Buried Pull tab 5 "
Nickle 8"
Dimes all Silver 4,6,8, and 10"
Quarter 8" 12"

F75 read all targets..A little iffy on the 10" dime and 12" quarter.not locked on, or confidence meter not sure.but read dime, and quarter on screen

I thought oh no this machine isn't as good as my other F75............Wrong..Wrong, wrong..

Checked my settings DE Mode 6 discrimination, and are you ready for this Sensitivity at 5.yep 5 I turned it down in the house when putting machine together.
Forgot when I walked outside to turn it up........ Wow this is a hot machine...better than last one..turned up to 25 and nailed all test garden coins even better. Turned up to 60 and nailed all with coil raised 4 and 5 " off the ground......... A true test garden check no exaggeration.Oh yea tried no GB like it says in the manual so machine was on preset 90 GB in Disc mode..I GB'd machine and it was even better responses...6 " inch dime could be detected with coil at least 8" up above the ground. That's all I had time to try today.getting dark.Built in backlight very bright in low light conditions.Seems like I got a hot one...

I'm like a kid in a candy store.................can't wait to try all the goodies

Seriously this think has some serious depth..I know the ground is wet right now(Frozen..and test garden is a few years old..but darn on sens 5 and it still picked up the coins to 8 solid and I would have dug the 10, and 12" signals if in the field

I have a f75 and a f70............I just tried my f70 yesterday....I used to be good with it ....but now..whew!....to much explorer se?

It's heavy, awkward, and noisy, constant noise in your ears...and truthfully I didn't find much with it...My attitude wasn't right LOl...Its a good machine..just not a good machine for me...My hunting buddy likes his..but I can hit every target with the F75 he hits with his XS..........Ok I have to get to work for awhile.....see ya enjoy that f70 and your Se...I know you really like it...So go find lots of Silver & Gold keep me posted will you ??>>>

I had an F-70, own an F-75 and also have an E-trac.

I liked the F-70. Nice machine. I love the F-75. A little bit more power than the F-70 and a few more bells and whistles. I needed a back light and so the F-70 had to go.

I kind of like the E-trac. It is nice....yes......it is smooth......it can go deep.........but it is so much slower than the F-70 and F-75.

I'm getting a little tired of having to recharge the batteries every few hours. The F-70 and F-75 just seem to go on forever and I love that.

The E-trac is kind of heavy. I'm used to it by now. I pick up the F-75 and it is like a feather.

I still can hit every target with the F-75 that I can with the E-trac. So far not one target can one hit and not the other. But I have noticed that with the F-75, I am digging a little deeper. My finds right now are about equal.

The E-trac is a bit better on the target ID, but not by much. It does have a habit of sometimes jumping around. Kind of like the F-75 in that respect. The F-75 is a little hot at times. Both pinpoint fantastically.

There are very few areas that the F-75 cannot handle that the E-trac can. Under power lines and I have to use the E-trac. But I don't hunt under those very often.

I may end up selling the E-Trac. I'll give it another 4 months and if it can show me it is much better than the F-75, then I'll keep it. But if not...........BYE BYE E-TRac. You just cannot beat the speed of the Fisher machines.

BTW...congratulations on your new F-75. Just stay out of Ohio OK? (just kidding)

i had F75 - sent it off for factory upgrade - nice ticket

the Etrac hits the market, i know it is better on the beach...................great machine...........far superior to expII i had - find many nice 1820/30 navy and marine buttons with it in the dirt.

after few months pass, i remembered why i hated the expII................like u said................heavy, battery only last for hours not weeks on end and does not grip nor swing well.............................i remember how light i had it with the F75...............great battery life, deep, great grip

i traded etrac off and got another new F75.................i love it................use excal II for the beach

i will say the etrac did go really deep also.

good luck to all

great weather in virginia for the weekend

I'm looking out my window now & watching the snow melt......Hopefully I'll be able to get mine cranking again soon!

I have had detectors in the past I liked..very much in fact......but not "LOVED"...............I am Lucky to have found the perfect detector for me..

I find the f75 comfortable, deep, stable, effective, and the biggest thing .............I have total confidence that when I hunt an area I am getting the max out of the detector in my hand..Could not always say that with other detectors...

I hope everyone someday finds the detector thats just right for you like I did............... If you haven't keep looking..and you will know the first time you use it...

For me................IT is without a doubt the F75...............

Going out for my maiden treasure hunting adventure today.
