Couple o the biggest hotrocks i run into, a magnet will even stick to em, they actually look more like petrified cow or horse poop, on the big one there is even some iron rusting in it.
the C$ said 51, 1280 sounded as weak iron, Nautilus as a dense pocket of iron mineralization, all detectors were right.
On the poop thing, I have several times got iron readings on horse droppings, as they grub the soil and pull the grass out rather than biting the grass off when they graze, so they get bits of iron and pieces of rusty wire and pass it on:detecting::fisher::fisher::fisher::detecting::usmc::usaflag:

Actually, what you are detecting in the dung are the salts passed by the digestive process of the animal. Same thing when you detect the "wet spots". :)

Might want to check those rocks out closely too, and make sure they aren't meteorites. 8^0?

Before you buy a "long range locator", better study up.
