Ya gotta love Garrett's service!

While I was down for shoulder surgery I decided to send in both my ATPro and my Tesoro Sand Shark for some needed warranty work. I boxed up the ATP and shipped it off. No phone call just a noted stating what the problems were. Inside of 2 weeks I come home with a box on the doorstep. Yesterday I took it out for the first time since surgery and it's like new again. It appears they also have a new coil cable (wire) with stainless conectors now. Thanks Garrett!

PS: Not so sure I can say the same for Tesoro. They still have the sand shark 4 weeks later and I have to call them for updates. I just hope they get the problem fixed! This is the 3rd time it's been in for service and it's only 8 months old.

I had a similar experience with Garrett back before Christmas; happened to catch them on holiday hours when they were open for a short time on Saturdays. I dropped off my Infinium one Saturday morning and it was on my doorstep the following Friday evening. Not exactly sure what all they did to it, but in bench tests it works better than when I first got it...

Sorry to hear about your trouble with Tesoro; I sent in my Stingray II for service several times over the years (most recently last month) and Tesoro has always been good and relatively fast after factoring in the travel time. They have even sent me replacement knobs and O-rings on occasion.

Sounds like your shoulder surgery was a success if you are back out hunting again.
