ya but no but ya i bought a cibola today

Mike , from mission metal detectors gave me a good deal on a new cibola so thats what im going to get mike is a tesoro dealer and a veteran metal detectorest allways a good guy to deal whith . the cibola was a bit over my budget thats why i was only going to get a silver but this should be a better machine i noticed the tesoroes have a good resale price this means one thing they are good detectors

I bought a Cibola when I was overseas and I just bought it for a back up.After taking it for a spin I thought well it seems pretty good but I was used to my old CZ5 which had multi tones. Well I took it out for a second spin on a 1793 battle field and was pulling stuff left and right. My back up became my main machine and I have hunted with it for ten hours straight which was hard to do with my CZ. The CZ was a great machine but the pluses of the Cibola just won me over and now I do not want a multi tone machine at all.A friend borrowed mine for a couple of hunts and ordered himself one. They are really great machines. I also have a Vaquero now and am very happy with it. Good luck and HH.

I'm shure glad mike of mission metal detectors talked me into buying the cibola , i was reading the reveiws on a web site and see its preset ground balance is top of the line it has great depth and really good at finding coins close to iron thats what im looking for and it is a relic monster i was trying to hunt my forest whith the m-6 and was geting only to 4" so weel see how this one does cant wait to try it wont have to swing a 4 lb sledg hammer any more

ACCORDING TO A WEB SITE IN THE U.K they found a small silver dime 1 cm from a 3" nail and as far as the depth amazing and the cibola kept up whith the top 3 metal detectors in bad ground my cibola is to arive today im going to take it out to my test plot whear i have a dime at 4" 6" and 8" i can say my m-6 was having troble whith the 6" dime and no responce at all whith the 8" dime so if the cibola hits the 8" im going to be very impresed

Looking forward to your report on how the Cibola works out for you.

Monte

i used a 6x10 had the disc backed all the way back and the sens at max and it could not make a peep on an 8" dime and was just able to get the 6" dime now the anoka sand is very minearalized it is a glacial out wash sand whith lots of magnatite and feldspars and volcanic rock fragments i have neodemium magnets and i can take at least 3% magnatite out of it and some biotite and hornblend and render the sand nearly white but its not as bad as black sand or anything i would say moderate mineara in it the clay hear has 7% iron and 1% titainium 3% sodium and pottasium and 14% alumina but the alumina has not been turned into aluminum so it may not be conducktive maybe i will look up the cemical analisis i have of the river bottom soil it is farmed for corn and beans
