Xterrific day

Hi to all from Down Under,

Yesterday I set up my Xt70 (standard coil) to accept only Australian $2, $1 and 50c coins on Program 2.
I hunted a football park ...around the grassy areas outside of the playing surface.
In six hours I picked up $44.14, a WW2 war medal (TID32), old brass hinge (the strange things one finds at parks!) silver earring and a 1920's penny.
The medal is my find of the month.

As you can see by the photo I also dug many flattened drink bottle screw caps which read at 30 or 32 .
30 is an Aussie $2 and 32 is a $1 coin.
I know my hearing is not the best anymore but is there a way to tell the difference?
or does one just have to dig all the blasted pesty things ?
Sunny days and Happy tecting to all Xterra-ites.

I would, as a novice, be interested to know what the settings were.
Any new info is good info
