Xterra 9" concentric coil

How many use the 9" concentric coil on the Xterra 70? I've had an Xterra 70 for a while. I had the 5x10 and the 6" coils. I finally got the 9" concentric 7.5khz coil but haven't tried it yet outside of air testing it. Just wondered which coil users seem to like the best? I know it can be according to what type of hunting you are doing and what the ground is like.

I have the 7.5 and the 3khz concentric coils. I had the 7.5 when I got my 70. But when I bought the 3khz, I haven't used the middle freq. coil at all. The 3khz hits better on silver than the 7.5. The 7.5 is still a great coil tho!!

For civil war bullets I use the 9 inch high frequency . Other relics I use the 10.5 7.5 khz coil. Yards for coins I use the 6 inch and the stock coil. They all have there place.

My 9" concentric has cobwebs on it
I use the 5x10" HF DD or the new 15'WOT
I am a DD man

Im with Terra1959. I haven't used my 9" concentric in well over a year. It's nice to know that it's there in case I have a site where a waterproof coil will come in handy. I feel I've done so much better as far as coin shooting goes with the 10.5" HF & MF coils.

I'm not knocking anyone that loves and uses the concentric coils, just found the DD's are better in my area.
