Xterra 705 settings

Hello Everyone,
I recently purchased a new 705 and am enjoying learning all its features. I was wondering which discrimination pattern would be best for civil war relic hunting and which would be best for coin hunting.? Thanks for your help !

For old coin hunting I like pattern 1 with 4 tones. For the CW relic's I have no clue

I like Pattern 1 customized where I accept all notches and use either 3 or 4 tones. That way amongst the iron it won't be constantly nulling out and possibly missing something good. Use it enough and play around with the settings. You'll hit on what works in your area and what you personnally like the best that way. Good luck and HH. Bob.

I civil war hunt all winter. I use all metal two tones and as much sensitivity as I can get with out being to chattery. Dig all high tones.

use all metal mode, just dont dig negative numbers that simple
