It depends on your ground. Mine is in the 40's usually. I like the 9inch 18khz for deep bullets. The 10.5 7.5khz for all other relics. And I have a different brand I use a lot and really like. I mostly use it because it is the only one I have that doesn't get bothered by electric fences as much and the farm I have been hunting for the last two years has a electric fence on all the fields. I can't hardly use any of my Minelab coils there.
