First let me say I feel like a fool to try to sell the 70 before I even gave it a fair shake. Well I now have over 50 hours on it and it is the cat's a@#. It is deep, accurate, and light, just what an old cripple needs. I hate to keep touting this detector with the 10.5 inch DD medium freq. coil, but it is just too darn good. Today, I took it and reworked a spot that I hunted last year with several very good detectors. I am not a clad hunter and I usually pass on zinc signals to listen for the deep signals. What I found today was amazing considering how many times and detectors I passed over this spot. No, I didn't find ten silver coins. I found a 1943 quarter, 1939 merc, and 7 wheats, along with some deep clad. The DD coil worked like a champ and all of these coins were DEEP! The clad quarters were 6 to 7 inches deep and the older coins were consideralbly deeper. In the short time I have owned this detector, I got it figured out and I am no rocket scientist. It is one heck of a detector. Right out of the box, someone could start finding older coins pronto. R.L.
