xterra 50 and 70

Just looked at the Xterra 50 and 70. Looks very much like the F4 and T2. I know these are
different technologies but I have also wondered about the similarities. Anyone throw some
light one this? Do they make use of the 0-99 distcriptors in IDing metals?

The 70 does.But it's only called 99 it's 28 I think....I can not hear all of them, but the low is low and the high is really high.
It I find works better using the 4 sound mode....But I also use an XLT, and do not like the multi tone on that either. How you doing Rob Roy....
You would like either detector I would think.Both function very well and have a very good respectable depth.The 70 has a lot more options.
On the other side when I used the X-50 I found coins deeper than I have with the X-70..that could be just a matter of where I was hunting and what was in the ground. My deepest was around 11" on a Canadian Silver Quarter from the 20's if I remember correctly.4" away I found a 1904 IH at 9" deep.
