I would like to hear opinions, pros and cons, of anyone using this detector. Thanks, Ron B.

Never used that one but had the 50 and loved it found my oldest coins with it 1800s . Now have the 70 and learning it Mark does real good with his ,he finds alot of goodies with it.

I have a 705 and it is a good machine. Use care in coil selection when purchacing extras. Ask around and taylor your extras a little more than I have.
I'm not disapointed I have put my 5x10 to good use, but I would buy in a different order nest time. The 10.5 MF DD would be 2nd followed by the 6" HF DD.
10.5 for med freq depth and seperation and the 6" DD for trashy areas.

I LIKE IT, what more do I need to say, lol. I have been using the X50 for the past 3 1/2 years and then in July I upgraded to the X505. The 505 does a little better job at handling the hot ground that I have a round here. the 2 extra noise cancel channels is a big plus. The only problem I have with the x505 is with rusty bottle caps. Even in AM I still get fooled sometimes with those caps and I think it's because they added #48 to the segment numbers. I MD at a lot of older schools and parks that have been hit hard over the past years by all kinds of MD'ers and most places that I have been too I have been able to find a few nice old coins and says alot to me about how good the X-terra's are. After today's finds I'm up to 162 silver coins for the year.

My 505 found me a 350 year old Oak Tree coin....... need I say more?

I dont think you can go wrong with it. There awesome and fairly simple to learn.
