XT50 returned for 70,or another

I bought the 50 and the time I used it,it seem to do good.Good depth,pulled a roofing nail out at about 9'',it was'nt rusty either,still was coated w/ the what ever they coat them with.
The 50 is on the way back now so I have to get something.I watched the DVD for the 70 the other day and amazed at all the other features on it thats not on the fifty.
But now got the feelin that I might want another brand.I know this is the Minelab section,and they are good.I read in F-75 section and thought of the it.They say get the best that you can afford.I $1008.00 in the bank to spend,plus what I get for the 50 when they recieve it.But I really didnt want to spend that much on one,$700-$800 now.It keeps goin up the more I save.
Talked to a couple of dealers and they said they would prefer the 70 over the SE.Dont understand that,but thats what they said.
Also looked at Whites,Garretts,Fishers,and Tecnetics.

Whites I think would be too heavy.
Garrett 2500,you can hand battery comp. on belt.
Fisher F-75 seems to appeal to me almost like the XT 70,but it cost more.
Tecnetics T2,well,I dont know.

I'm in fix now,just so confusing.I guess I'm askin which one,even though that topic has been talked about probly more than any on here.

I'll download the manual and look thru it see what I think about it.
On the face,it only has has one knob and one push button.
How are you ever gonna add + or - w/ no +/- buttons?

I've done looked there some and read some dissappointing stuff,but also some good stuff.I'll read a little more.

x70 all the way especially if your interested in looking for gold as well

What was it about the 50 you didn't like? I have had mine for a few months and find it to be well balanced machine. It took a little time to learn all the great features but well worth it.

HammerHead, Nothin really,I mentioned to the guy I bought it from that maybe I should have got the 70 and he said try it out for a few weeks,if not fully happy with it he'ld refund all me money.
After watchin the DVD about how much more the 70 could do,I decided I wanted it or something else.

There really aint a MD place close by,but I think there is a dealer about 40 minutes I could try,sells Tersoro,Fisher,and Garrett,and can order Minelab.

Shoulda know about puttin a post like this up,everyone has their own opinion about different ones,but the next one I get I'm gonna keep.
