XT50 finds 3 small pieces of gold

Went to a lake north of Houston today to try out the XT50 in the beach area. I have worked this beach area before and have found lots of coins. Today I just concentrated on the mid tones and ignored the high tones as I was pressed for time. Ended with two small 10K gold rings and one small 10K gold bracelet. Both rings came in at 6 and the bracelet came in at 3. The level in the lake was on the low side because the River Authority is doing some work so the level had to be dropped. There use to be an old house in this area and in some places the ground was a rust color, I guess the iron leached from all the nails in the ground, found lots of them from digging up signals. There is alot of trash in this lake, foil, pulltabs, fishing sinkers, etc. The XT50 performed really good but did give me a slight falsing in the area where the ground was a rusted color. Someone had been there before me as I found alot of pot marks and even a few unfilled holes. I hope to go back next week as there is still alot of ground I didn't have time to work. Thanks for looking. HH John

There's the 3's and 6's again, I got a pretty thick gold loop today that also hit 6. I gotta tell you, not many items lock hard on 3 or 6 but when they do it's agood chance GOLD is under the coil.

but I wonder if the 18.75khz coil would of locked on better? I'd lke to have a small coil in this frequency. HH John
