XT50 AND CANADIAN COINS

I haven't bought my 50 yet but am very close. My question would be...will Canadian coins give approx. same readings as the US coins???
I have an Ace 50 but am going to move up.

Although I don't remember any specific information on the X-50, I did remember reading a Field Test on the X-30 and how it responded to CDN coins. Keep in mind that numbers are just numbers. If you search through this forum you will find a TID sheet I posted with comparative numbers for all three models. Then, for you CDN equivalent, look at the numbers on the Field test X-30 and simply do the math for the corresponding numbers on the X-50. Here is the link to that X-30 report on Minelab's website:

Hey there DIGGER, thanks a lot, I printed the whole thing and will study it for sure. I emailed ML yesterday and they are going to send me the manual and the DVD, sounds to me like one hell of a great company to be dealing with. THANKS AGAIN
Tucker

Minelab Marcus made some specific comments a while back as to how the 30 responds to Canadian coins. One of the major points he made, was pay attention more to the audio than just using the TID. If you click on the search button and type his name in, and do a search for the last 12 months on this forum, then you will find the post. He hasn't posted massive amounts of posts, so it shouldn't be hard to find.
Mick Evans.
