Yes All Metal-AM in the Prospecting Mode with the round 10.5" HF DD. Because using a HF(18.75 kHz) is better(hotter) for picking up smaller pieces of 'iron' than using a MF(7.5 kHz) or LF(3 kHz) coil.
The 6x10" HF DD is also good but you are probably not after tiny subgram sized meteorites which is about the size of targets this coil is best at finding. So larger than about a gram or +2 grams, the bigger 10.5" HF DD coil is deeper for this size of targets.
Also you can get a TID number in the C & T Mode(in All Metal-AM), as it may be -6 or -8 to help identify the meteorites.
I sure wish there was a longer coil available for the X-70(5) for more ground coverage per sweep while looking for meteorites(or coins or relics) in very large fields-paddocks, like a 12x15" or 15x18" SEF butterfly coil, or a lighter-weight elliptical 10x18" DD coil from Minelab. Available now from Kellyco for the Whites (14kHz) MXT you can buy a 15x18" SEF coil for it for better ground coverage, and you should have a bungee cord and/or hipstick for using that heavier butterfly coil. Also this same big sized butterfly coil is available for the Sovereign GT(chest-hipmountable) and Safari, along with a round CoilTek 15" DD WOT coil from Doc's Detecting.
