XT-70 Audio Vs. TID

As with most any TID detector, it is indeed possible to get a solid audio response, but beyond being positively identified. In my soil, I find that my X-Terras usually get "iffy" TID around the 8-inch depth. As to the sounds you mentioned and the number bounce, yep, I agree. I might suggest you read a post I made about the X-30 and X-50 last winter, and reposted down the page on Sept 14. TID chart and Coinshooting tips. Same principals apply to the X-70. HH Randy
 
Experience like yours. My TID number get iffy between 7 and 8 inches. Audio and pinpointing good to 10 or 11 inches.
