XT 50 works great on saltwater beach...

got out with a friend for about 3 hrs.Had to lower sensitivity to 12 near the waves but no problem.Unfortunately there were no goodies to be found,only one penny:(
Been wanting to try it on the beach for some time.Went over several areas loaded with nails and hardly a peep from the XT 50:))
 
kind of depth you were getting in the wet slat sand?? And dry sand??
