XT-50 depth

dirt doctor

If both the XT-70 and XT-50 had the same comparable settings and coils , would they both be theoretically identical in their depth capabilities .Maybe someone who has spent a bit of time with both could tell me as I have an XT-50 and have not been around any XT-70's
to compare with .Thanks !

Only under very specific and possibly narrow circumstances might the X50 match the X70. And that does not include use of the X70 prospecting mode which can be significantly deeper depending on target & mineralization level.

Could you be a little more cryptic in your response? :poke: ;)

IMO in good ground conditions of low to moderate mineralization (which most people have) The X-70 has a little more punch when you can make use of the higher sens settings (28-30).

How's that?

Thanks to you also Jackpine Savage .With these 2 posts and an email I received .It's unanimous that with it's improvements The 70 can obtain greater depths .
