XS Worth The Time And Effort

Times are hard and I bought an XS for $175.00. Guy needed money for insurance. Anyway,I am mostly a relic hunter and open field hunting. Never owned a Minelab,just White's and Tesoro. Can anyone offer pro's and con's on this machine.

Pro:
If it's in the ground, the XS will let you know with a good deal of certainty what it could be.

Con:
You have to swing very slow to do this. Stay out of the heavy iron patches.

The Sovereign XS is a great metal detector you got a good deal. Pros has great tone ID and depth. Cons heavy and has a learning curve.
