XS verses Explorer II?

Please forgive me for this question. I am sure it has been asked 1000 times. Besides the price, what is the real difference between the XS and the Explorer II???? Could someone clearly clarify the difference or direct me to an area with the answer? Thanks for any help.

Wow, there are some major differences. I didn't relize that. Thanks for the info. Do you think those are really bad differences? Would it be worth investing in an XS? Sounds like they fixed all the flaws with the Explorer ll. What do you think?
