Question for the pros. Why would my headsets or speaker volume suddenly decrease in amplification. I've noticed this twice. I took the Minelab headsets off and the volume was still low. Would appreciate some help fellers. Tks wmike

Dont sound right that it would do that, maybe one of the wires in the headphone jack are shorting out.. might want to call the service center...Jim

Will do and if you find out, let me know...Tks wmike

How low is your battery when it happens? Mine has been doing the same and I think when the battery level reaches about a fifth of the icon the volume goes down. Let me know if yours is the same.

Maybe we should call Vegas and ask those guys. At first I thought it might be old age or was being punished for diging to many deep holes with nothing to show for the trouble.
I also noticed a one point the signal sounded scratchy. Anyway with the earphones on, the volume went wayyyy down all of a sudden and stayed there. I unplugged the headsets and the volune was still low. Then sometime later the loud volume came back and it about blew my ears off.
So there alone, I don't think it was a headset problem. Will post if I find out for all. HH wmike
