XS firmware upgrade?

Does anyone know if the XS's programing has had any changes since the first ones sold? I bought one of the first one's available and have sent it back because of the cracking that occured around the shaft tightener pin/latch. I'm only asking this because I thought that I read somewhere Minelab had incorporated some users input since the first one's came out and had a chance to be used in the real world. But since reading that I've looked all over for any mention of programing changes and haven't seen anything. Thanks.

The only changes were in the display as they used a differnt manufacture. Yours has a blue tint to it while the new ones have more of a green tint to it. I have one of the first ones in my shop and one of the newer ones and the first ones seem to look so much beter indoors in my shop. Other than that they have the same performance.

Thanks for the rapid response. I'm happy to hear that it hasn't changed, well other than the cosmetic. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

Hello...
The firmware version that displays on mine when I power up is:
V1.10.5A 20.SEP.0
If the version number is different, my guess would be that they made some changes to the firmware. But as I said, that's just a guess on my part, and may have no basis in fact. <IMG SRC="/forums/images/smile.gif" BORDER=0 ALT=":)">
Hope this helps...
