XP Deus ?

The DEUS does just fine gold prospecting but no better than units costing half as much. The real reason to buy one is for coin, relic, and jewelry detecting as you are paying for lots of options to enhance your ability to do those things. If all you do is look for gold with it you are paying a lot of extra money for features you do not need. It also lacks a good small coil option so is not as good at sniping small gold as some other detectors. There is nothing much special about Alaska when it comes to nugget detecting except that unfortunately small gold is more the norm than large nuggets so small coil options are good to have.

Now if you want to coin, relic, jewelry AND detect for gold nuggets, the DEUS is all that and then some. Very light and compact.

the deus is horrible for nugget hunting ! Get a T2 for $500 and have the best !

Please share your personal experience nugget detecting with the DEUS and what made it so horrible at the task. Or are you just here to shill for the T2 by trashing everything else?

I followed many of those Third World country detector companies with the T2 and played major cleanup several of those owners switched on the spot they are just copycat want to be companies with engineers that wish they could do what American companies engineers can
