THERE ARE SOME AMAZING RESULTS IN THIS VIDEO!

I see your video, when you are using the T2 you have the controller for the Deus very close to the T2 .
Results may be a little different if you put the Deus control box much farther away.
My garrett PP makes my Dst T2 chatter when used to close.
Gary

it was chattery before I cut the deus on,my friend always had problems with it chattering. could here no interference from the remote as like when you get the coils to close together.

Price wise, these can't compare right ? That's an important consideration for many.

thats is true the deus is around 1265.00 and it should outperform a lower priced detector. The t2 is no slouch the video just shows when someone can afford to (upgrade) I had to save pennies to get mine that there are better options at the higher end. I tested it againest the at pro and I said that in the video that I didnt expect the pro to perform on the level as the deus .

What were the deep settings used in this video calabash digger, I'm new to the deus and I like the sound of the deus in this video. I also like the depth that your getting well done and thanks for posting. Les

Great video Calabash. You've done awesome since you got the Deus. 3 questions for ya. What machine do you use as a back up and how long have you used the T2, and is t t2 the upgrade with DST. Keepem' coming buddy great job.:clapping:

What impresses me the most is the depth you get with such a small coil. The T2's coil is bigger. Have you tried a bigger coil with the Deus ?

The t2 is the upgraded one, its my buddys machine and he used it for years so I set it up in boost mode like he told me to and used his relic settings. I had a at pro but sold it. Ive really not had to keep a back up because I bought my son in law a machine and if mine goes down I can use his he doesnt hunt much. really didnt see a big difference with the 11 inch coil actually the 9 hit the quarter better got trash around it.

FULL TONES ,SENS 93,TX 3 ,SILENCER 0, I NEGATIVE GROUND BALANCED IT 2 POINTS BELOW GROUND READING, IT WILL HIT IT WITH THE PRESET OF 90 TOO , REACTIVITY 2,DISC 1, 12KH,IRON AUD 0,AUDIO RES 5, Some like to hunt with a negative gb but its just to unstable for me to hunt that way all the time,I would rather run a quite stable machine in my general hunting but will use that technique on some hunted out sites to tag super deep targets. The machine performed better with the ground balance being closer to the actual reading than it does on the factory preset of 90.

A very interesting video and well presented as well,i also use a full Deus setup and 'original' green T2,these are one of 4 of my main machines that i carry the other are the Nexus with dual 9'' coil and TDI Pro with Coiltek 14x9 Mono coil, these i feeel cover me for 'almost' all my detecting needs here in the UK,i also have other machines that are either site specific use ones or machines that i sometime take out for the pure enjoyment factor that they give me.Form me the biggest factor in detecting is enjoying myself and i do that with the machines and my sites that i detect ie roman, saxon and celtic about as good as it gets finds wise.

My main 2 machines as mentioned above are the Deus and the T2,both have good and bad points but as long as i am aware of what these are then i use the machines accordingly,in my mind they 'both' compliment one another,i have used the T2 for many along year and was one of the 1st original ones into the UK the Deus must be nearly 3 years old and both have had massive amounts of happy hours detecting.

Some things the Deus is better at than the T2,but saying that the T2 is also in some situations better than the Deus,i wont highlight the good and bad features of them as it would take all day,as long as i am aware what machine can do i then use it accordingly and happy doing so,of course our detecting finds are vastly different and possibly alot older here in the UK than across the pond,so we have too slightly adapt and when my T2 comes into its own is when i detect on deep pasture sites after very deep say Bronze Age or Roman targets when using a large 15'' coil and running the T2 hot,i find that this combination and the simplicity of use with the T2 just suits me just fine.

So as long as i am aware what each machine can do i use the best tool/s for the job, they just compliment one another and i enjoy using them both,so what works for one person and also the location and targets that they are hunting may not work for another person, all these thing have to be taken into account in my mind.

Once again you produce some very good educational videos and put alot of thought into them to help other folks who have just bought the Deus,as we are no machine is 100% perfect, but the Deus does tick alot of boxes but not necessary all detecting boxes,we all detect differently around the planet and adapt and use the best methods and machines for our needs but the main common denominator that we hunt is 'metal'.

These are of course just my personal opinions on say machines and detecting in general.

Many thanks calabash digger I have put the settings in my remote and I will be trying them out and seeing how I get on with them at the weekend. Les
