so me and the deus are working together ok i've found four rings with her but no silver , starting to get the settings right to get deep stuff … but still nothing before 1965 .. last weekend i found three rings …one gold with a small diamond ,two cheep rings but hey some day that 40,000.00 rings gone pop up … also found about 20 nickels …. and only 4 pull tabs… so i'm on the right track…. so i've got 6 days left until i can post my ATX for sale on this site.. thought i had it sold for 1650.00 last night .. its getting cold riding the motorcycle to work need the jeep fixed…. and me having 4 medal detectors the wife has put the foot down one has to go … the v3i is my back up and i do like it a lot ,,, the deus is really light and is starting to find good stuff … the excalibur is a dang good water machine … as is the ATX but i dig a lot more junk than good stuff but have found nickels at 16" …. so be on the look out for my add coming up in 5 days 22 hours… LOL …o ya i found a british coin a one pound coin nice its like twice as thick as the nickel and about the same size… go figure in a school field in san diego a brit….. LOL

Nice going on the finds. Takes patience & time to learn many top of the line units. After 3 years I can say I have a good relationship with my V3i and it performs. Been looking closely at the Deus XP as a future possibility to add to my arsenal.

Congrats on that Gold! :clapping: You are on the rings, and nickels so thats a good sign...I have been interested in trying out a Deus for a long time now, for its sheer speed and lightweightness...I'd have to handle one and try it out before I buy on account of I'm pretty stupid when it comes to programming things...even a TV remote is above my intellect..:sadwalk:

its easier than people say in fact real easy….. i feel bad that i've not taken the v3i out in a month but with the deus and garrett atx "witch just SOLD for 1650.00" its been a learning time for me… the deus is becoming real easy the stock programs ar good with just a few tweaks for your soil it easy… i thought light no big deal who needs light … but after using man its ok … i like both the v3i and deus i think they ll go good together i see the v3i as back up for now…
