XP Deus Coil Question

I have the Deus with the LF 9 inch coil. I'm looking to add a coil and was wondering what you would recommend as another coil option. I hunt civil war areas and also search for coins. These coils are expensive and I don't want to have any regrets later.

Thanks for your input.

I have the same setup and I’ve done very well with the LF 9” coil lots of silver I’m mainly a coin hunting and jewelry
So I watched a lot of videos and the one that won me over on the HF elliptical coil was the way it hit gold like no other
Machine in 80 KHZ!
I’ll try to locate the video and post it for you but I found a barely used one for around $300.00.

civil war areas with iron 9 hf coil …… in 28 kh and 54 kh...

Here's the deal. The HF coils are more stable in compromised situations, EMI, wet, high mineralized ground etc. They are also better on low freq targets, nickels, gold. The downside is there is no norm off option so #s are bunched together. Not a big problem if ur relic hunting and just digging good sounds, but some folks don't like this for coin hunting. I have two lfs and two hfs, but one of each should do you well. HH

Thanks for all the replies.....it really helped !
