What is the difference between the spectrum and E series XLT? Rob

the name change and decals.

A month and a half to two months ago I bought a choice condition "Spectrum XLT" that had been used about 12 hr. then set on a closet shelf. It didn't bother me one bit that it is the "Spectrum XLT" rather than the newer-NAMED "XLT E-Series."

First vesrsion was a 1 model and was changed to a 1.1 with a minor change in relic mode. Also stronger rivets were used to attach box to rod, then came a coil wire with thicker insulation and just lately a new 9.5 coil has emerged...In reallity as Monte posts the older rainbow model is the same unit as the newer E. series which basically is just a sticker switch and Whites grouping their units into specific series..

Thanks for the information. Rob
