XLT Upper Rod On Sov ???

I though that I read awhile back that you can use the Whites XLT Upper Rod Attachment to the Sovereigns to help with the balance issue. Is this correct? Thanks (private is ok)

Some like to use the upper rod from a Whites hip mount kit for their Sovereigns, but you have to mount your V Clips and if i remember right change the holes for the lower rod to work. The better choice now is the upper shaft for the Sovereign GT as it has the V clips and you lower rod will fit right on without doing any mods and I feel it balance out better too.
There is many different options and one is a straight shaft David at Dixie sell too.

Hey Clockdrive, Like Rick stated, you would have to change the holes on the shaft. Or, you could take the button clip out of the Sov lower shaft, and redrill One or Two holes at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions on your lowr shaft, and that would work. HH, hope this helps.
