XLT performance question

I use a whites eagle II sl 90. I have been looking at the XLT as my next detector. Other than weight, does the XLT have much more to offer than my eagle II? Thanks for any replies.

Yes the XLT has much more to offer IMO. I had both and also the Eagle 90 on the S rod. #1 the first thing you will notice is the weight. It probably is not much lighter if any but the way it is mounted it feels much lighter. I compared the Eagle 2 and Eagle 90 to the XLT in several hunts. I would get a deeper signal with Xlt and then use the Eagle2 And Eagle 90. In many cases rhe Eagle2 and Eagle 90 would not get the deeper signals. Not saying they are not good machines as I found a lot with them before I go the XLT in 1996. I sold both of the other machines and even today the XLT is my favorite machine. I have owned about 40 detectors and own eleven now. The XLT is still my favorite.

Basically an XLT offers more changeable facets and info to give you more depth and stabilty and also has 4 programs you can save..A wise decision to buy one as they have been a hot seller for Whites since 93 with good reason...
