Just wondering what different coils are availble for the xlt and their purposes. It would also be nice to know the prices for them ;both used and new.Thanks.

Well they have a bunch....5.3, 3.5, bigfoot and Jimmy Sierra has several larger than the stock 9.5...as far as prices would shop around. Larger coils usually cover more area and go deeper while the smaller coils usually are used for trashy areas...

Here's a good place to start; http://www.jimmysierra.com/loopsZ.htm
I use the Bigfoot on my XL PRO(6.59Kz) & DFX.(3 & 15 Kz) Just like a wiper blade on a windshield! Covers a heck of a lot of ground fast, when looking for surface targets. I use the Eliminator coil(6.59 Kz) on my XL PRO. Don't think they are making them anymore? But I found the one I have used on a Forum. With the Eliminator coil I am able to go under High power transmission wires with out a problem. This same area will drive my DFX nuts! Also look At the White's web site. They have several coils there to choose from. As far as price goes, you'll be able to see what they cost new. Then go from there when buying a used one!
