XLT 4 ME....

I picked up an XLT last week. Have been reading the manual and playing around with it in the preset modes. I loaded Mike Eastcoasts program into it, the one from youtube. I dug a folded beaver tail ( off a pulltab) at 7.5". I haven't gotten to try any other programs, but I know I really like this one! Posted link below in case anyone wants to try it.

An XLT is a very good machine and much luck in the coming year!

Thank you, I know I'm going to love this detector. Best of luck to you also !!!

Preset programs are usually weak but a good starting point before you tweak...Must be 8-10 books wrote on the XLT over the years and offer some good insight as I read all of them.

No secret programs just those that work for your area and in time you will have 4 loaded user made programs and with the push of a button you are on your way. Internet is loaded with programs for your perusal to give you some ideas...don't get fancy or set parameters high to start and eventually all will fall into place...
