OK- here we go.
Awhile back I had a bad coil on an Eagle Spectrum,
Took it a repair center.
He had some used detectors on the wall,one was the XL Pro.
He let me take it out after he set it up and I never forgot how it looked and performed.
After I sold my Spectrum a few weeks later I called him about the Pro but he sold it.
He said he had one unused new in the box--(at that time).
What would be a price for a new one in the box if the was such a thing.

the "best" years of your life!...IF one existed,..700.00 or better!..better chance of getting one slightly used!..maybe around 500.00..good luck!

Hi;
I don't have much faith in detector rhetoric but someone I trust says if the meter says dime
then it's a dime and if it says quarter-dig it because it's going to be a quarter.End of story.

Maybe I should forget the GT and get the XL pro.
I've had the Eagle spectrum and the MXT.

Ask Monte on the forum he would be able to tell you a good price 700.00 sound way to high price even if its new,ive seen them on ebay go for 380.00 to 500.form excellent condition to ok condition.You can buy a new xlt e series for 480 to 550.00 in excellent condition off ebay.Not same machine but can give you general idea what it is worth.

$460 with three coils
A Black Max 950 PRO, a Blue Max 800 Precision Scan and a Black 5.3 Max.

xl pro's retail was 699.00 when new!..stopped makin' them in '05..and IF you find a dealer who has "old" new stock,you can bet the ranch he'll want 700.00 or better for it!..yes!..if you can find used in "mint" condition,then you will probably get it for around 500.00 or so!..one has to keep in mind that those people who DO have one in that condition KNOW what they can get for it,however it MAY be possible someone could let it go for 350.00 or 400.00 IF they really needed the money!....good luck!
