I heard awhile back that the guy doing the mods. was not anymore. I was wondering though are there other guys doing it or some of the kits floating around still in the box for sale? Don't get me wrong as the XL-PRO is still a good detector,But Whites sure miss the boat as not to do it themselves. It would have made a good detector great and out sell some of their newer models. JMHO.

...You should have bought mine when I was at a weak moment, I have been experimenting with the TR mode with 4 tone audio, you can just hover the coil over a coin almost like being in all metal
mode and it will hold the tone. The little 4
