XL-PRO Modulated Audio?

I have mostly hunted in GEB DISC.,But I was playing around today with the SAT.MODE and it seems to have a modulated audio where the deeper the target the softer the audio. I was just air testing,But wonder if this is the same out in the feild? I know the GEB DISC is pretty much saturated where all sound the same. I see now why some prefer the SAT MODE with the 5.3 coil in trash. I guess you could slower your sweep with this coil and Mode and listen for the softer hits? I need to try this if the weather gets above freezing in the 20's today and getting colder. The ground is still thawed though for now.
 
WOW! Suprised Monte didn't at least comment on this one. I think all the old time XL-PRO fans have retired from detecting?
