I didn't ground balance properly, so I didn't get the beeps, but I ground balanced it the hard way so I got same tone on ground & in air.
What I am wondering is if I did anything else wrong. When I tried GEB disc, my 6" deep dime & 6" deep nickel both IDed as dollar (& MAX disc wouldn't reject nickel). But when I went to GEB SAT & then held in switch (for temporary GEB DISC), the 6" deep nickel IDed correctly. It did reject the nickel at max disc in air test.
So does it make sense that the improper ground balance procedure would mess up GEB disc mode, except for temporary GEB disc working OK? Wouldn't they both involve the same circuitry? I haven't made it through the manual yet (downloaded last night), so the answer could be in there. But thanks in advance for any replies. HH, George (MN)
