Xchange2 issue- who is a genius??

Ok so here is an issue that I am completely stumped on. I am on Xchange2 with my CTX hooked up to it. I'm trying to delete and edit some programs. I've done it before. The problem is my edit pencil that is usually to the right hand side of the name of the program is covered up by the width of the scroll bar. The scroll bar is never this wide. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software twice. No help. Ive tried to see if there is small arrows to make the width of the scroll bar more narrow. None available, I've checked the resolution of the computer. It's normal.
I attached 2 pics to show what the scroll bar width should look like and what mine looks like, Can't wait to see who can solve this one!!

You should see a tiny sliver of the "Edit" box just to the left of the scroll bar. If you get your cursor just right, the "Edit" will show and you simple click on it. It's a pain and what I call a "negative improvement" on the latest download of xChange2 from Minelab.

PS Sorry for the sideway pic but you can still see the sliver of the edit box and the word Edit will pop up when you are on it.

There is definitely a tiny sliver of the edit spot on your pic because I can see it. But on my pic you will see that my scroll bar is even wider and there is definitely not even a spec of any letter showing on the word edit. I emailed the support for xchange and I'm still waiting for a response. Thank you for your efforts!

Hope you get a "positive" answer from them. BTW, the version I have loaded is Version1.8.7-1.1.10 It is for the 3030 and the Z 7000.

Just for giggles, right click on the top bar and go down and choose "ZOOM" and choose "Larger". Or just press Ctrl ++ on the xChange with the cursor anywhere and see if that gets you a clickable "Edit" button.

Joe, I tried the zoom larger, normal, and smaller but again nothing more would show. Really sucks! I'm pretty sure I wont be hearing from support tonight either. Ughhh

The more times I did the Ctrl +, more of the Edit button would show. I know it is not a solution but maybe you can at least get to edit mode and zoom back out. I think I hit Ctrl + about 5 times and got most of the Edit button to show. But I also had a sliver of it to begin with, so you might not be able to see it no mater how many times you hit it.
Be sure and post Minelab's solution because even though I can go to edit on my screen, it was a real pain to get the cursor just right. At least with the Ctrl +, I have more of the button to work with but that is still not a fix, just a bandaid.

Joe

You are correct! The more times I hit it the edit part eventually shows although very distorted. When I click on edit it does take me to the next screen. This will definitely work for now and I thank you for that! I will let you know what minelab xchange2 says too. Thanks again.

Your welcome. When you get into Edit mode, just right click on the top bar and go to zoom and choose "Normal" and it pops back to the default giving you more room to do your edit.

I have the same version level of software and don't have the problem.
Windows 10. Display settings 1680x1050.
Some things I would recommend:
Check if display driver is unique to your LCD monitor or perhaps instead is in some default monitor type - look in Control Panel.
If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel, click on one of the mode boxes and then hold the Ctrl key while scrolling - it should get bigger and smaller.
I noticed a lot of weird problems with older monitors that had older drivers. I think I even had to purchase a new graphics card (a cheap one, like $30) and it helped with such weird problems.

Interesting. I have the same version of the software but I have no problem seeing the "edit" button. When I shrink the xchange window it collapses the map view and doesn't affect the left side of the menu at all. I'm running this on my good old laptop with windows 8.1
