Xchange 2 MAJOR concern

Who has access to the information when I put find spots into exchange 2, reasons as follows.

1. You have to log on to open google earth/maps. My user name was saved so when I put password in it didn't recognize it.

2. After 3 attempts I filled in "reset" password option and seconds later got an email with a link etc, no problem I thought so I reset password.

3. Failed again, it then told me I wasn't even logged on and there were error messages that contained phrases like "corrupt" "crashed" "failure" etc.

4. Uninstalled program and rebooted computer, as soon as I put the disc in a Trojan warning came up on my screen from my security software.

Whilst I am writing this I am running a full scan on my computer, but was just wondering like I said at the beginning who has access? I've only used the "find spot" option once and put on 4 locations saved on my CTX, which leads me to another point, Why didn't the find spots clear when I reset ALL on the CTX, as I was out yesterday and decided to mark a find spot and it came up as number 5, not number 1 as I was expecting, sure enough the next one was number 6.

Any help appreciated.

Are you using Win 10? Using Webroot, McAfee, Norton, Windows Defender security software? You have to Log in to Google Earth?? Did you do a security scan on the Exchange disc? Some security software will give you an alert on a software (maybe Exchange2) that is not on their 'safe' list. I have heard of some folks having difficulty with Win10 also, possibly with the Defender side.

I cannot see how logging a findpoint/waypoint allows any 'access' to your computer. It is all inside the CTX until you hook up to your PC.

Let us know what you discover please.

avast let exchange 2 download before fine. it stops it now, as there is a trojan on it. its safe to say the exchange 2 has a hack...etc...some problems.

i don't foresee it being fixed without legal action, problem over a year old.

Exchange 2 has been giving false positives for years. This happens all the time with software. That's why antivirus Suites let you ignore certain files that are safe.
Also Minelab exchange data only stays on your local machine. At least that is what they said years ago.
