xcal pods

I just wasn't happy with the way things were as far as the tightness of the fit on NICAD, NIMH, or alkaline battery's for all my xcal pods so here goes, A lathe at a machine shop, a 1 1/2 boreing bar and the lathe at a slow speed and steady as she goes, total time less than 10 Min's and ten bucks for the guy for lunch. Now I can use any pack I need at any time with the alkaline inserts and they fit fine. I did not start the boar until it got past where the o-ring seal area. I'm going to try to use the NIMH pods but if I have a problem I always carry AA and AAA in the truck as well as nylon nuts and bolts and hex keys for the pods. Here are some photos
