Finally, got something from the schoolyards. Haven't been able to get to any older sites so, I've been hitting the schools and parks. 1954D in very good shape popped out from 4". Might not be the find of the year but, it's worth a million to me! I was using the 7.5 round, sens 23, pattern 3, tracking on.

The seventy has also managed to sniff out several .925 rings in high trash using the 18.75 DD lately. I'll try to get some pics up. Thanks for reading!
 
Even if you eventually find thousands of Wheats, you have to start with that first one! Congrats on breaking the scab. Now take some pics of those rings and show us what you found. HH Randy

Thats what Im hoping for! The school that I found it in isn't real old but it's been around long enough to hide some goodies. It borders an old farm so, I'll be back along the fenceline. Still working on getting some pics up...
