Hello guys, please did somebody test what is the depth difference between the X70's Coin mode and the Prospecting mode to US quarter/Dime in the middle mineralized ground? With my Advantage I am able to pick up the quarter for sure in 10 inch. All metal mode is in my Advantage worse than Discriminate mode and I only use it for the Pinpointing. I also wonder if you are able to recognize those small rusty iron nails in the Prospecting Mode. Thank you for your time to answer!

You should gain at least an inch or better in Prospecting mode over patterns or all metal. You may not hear it knock out the small nail but it will if you take the time to set the IM to knock out one of the common problem targets after you have dug one and use it to make your adjustment.
If I run across a problem target like carpentry nails, roof tacks or whatever, I simply adjust the IM until it barely knocks them out and forget about it.

You may see a better depth increase where you hunt, my statement was simply meant as what can commonly be expected. Only YOU can say what mode works best where you hunt.
The only thing I can be SURE of is that results are dependent of site conditions.
